Ogun East senator, Gbenga Daniel, has warned Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State that there are certain paths he should not have crossed.

Daniel noted that whatever governor Abiodun is currently enjoying is his sweat.

He was reacting to the building of an airport in Ogun State which he started.

Featuring TVC News Beyond The Headlines with Nifemi, the former governor noted that the construction of the airport was the easiest thing to do.

According to Abiodun: “Your Excellency, you are now going to be a former governor very soon, I will say your Excellency remember I came to you and said this young man that is following you everywhere will be the one to destroy your government, I don’t want to mention his name.

“I hope you have seen that all these troubles you didn’t need it, if you have done a few things right. Look at what is happening in Ekiti State, there are certain lines you don’t cross in this business.

“I have served the state meritoriously. If there is anything Dapo Abiodun is enjoying today, it is our sweat. Yes he did the airport but that is the easiest part of the job, to award the contract, but the money was there.

“When we were running up and down doing environmental assessment, jumping from place to place doing the design, acquiring the land, talking to stakeholders with little and no money.

“Everything was done, we got the licence, does he know what I went through to get that licence? Does he know how many Presidents I had to sit with to get the licence?

“He came to say he doesn’t know what to do and I said this is the licence, you pick it and award the contract and you are making money from the contract you award, you are now galivanting that you have done the airport. How?
