President Tinubu Returns to Abuja After Two-Week Working Vacation in the UK

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has returned to Abuja after completing a two-week working vacation in the United Kingdom. His arrival took place on Saturday evening, where he was warmly welcomed by key figures in his administration. Among those present to greet him were his Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila; the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Ganduje; the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu; and Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

During his time in the UK, President Tinubu engaged in various activities and meetings aimed at strengthening international relations and addressing pressing issues facing Nigeria. His trip was characterized as a “working vacation,” highlighting the balance between official duties and personal time.

Upon his arrival, the excitement was palpable, with his presidential social media aide, Dada Olusegun, taking to X (formerly Twitter) to announce the President’s return. He wrote, “Welcome home Mr. President,” and added, “The eagle has landed,” signaling the significance of Tinubu’s return to the country. This trip marks a notable moment in his presidency as he resumes his duties and responsibilities in Nigeria.
