After less than 2 years of marriage, Dan Bernard, the estranged husband of singer Sia has made several requests amid their divorce.

Earlier this year, Sia filed for divorce from Dan Bernad, citing “irreconcilable differences.”

The private couple wed in 2023 and quietly welcomed a baby named Somersault in 2024, according to their divorce papers. According to E! News, Sia requested legal and physical custody of Somersault in her filing.

Now, according to new court documents obtained by Billboard and E!, Dan has requested over $250,000 in temporary monthly spousal support payments from Sia.

According to Billboard, Dan — a former radiation oncologist — quit his job because Sia apparently didn’t like the long hours he worked. Instead, the pair opened a ketamine clinic together in LA in 2021 — though Dan reportedly claimed that Sia has now stopped funding the clinic, and that he is unable to go back to work at the hospital because his license has expired.

“Orders are necessary at this time because I am financially dependent on Sia,” said Dan, referring to the singer as “the breadwinner” in their marriage. He also noted that he is currently unemployed with no income coming in.

Dan also purportedly said that he and Sia “lived a luxurious and upper-class lifestyle” during their relationship, spending over $400,000 a month on things like fine dining, full-time staffers, and private jet trips.

He added, “Sia has the ability to pay me spousal support to maintain our financial status quo.”

He also reportedly said that Sia gifted him a Porsche 911 Targa 4 after they got married.

As well as spousal support, Dan requested that Sia pay $300,000 to cover his attorney’s fees and another $200,000 for his forensic accounting fees.
