A former manager of music star, Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2face or 2Baba, Kaka Igbokwe, has confirmed that the singer was arrested in London, United Kingdom, following an altercation with his wife, Natasha Osawaru.

2face had travelled to the UK with Osawaru, a member of the Edo State House of Assembly, for a concert tour but failed to appear for a scheduled show on October 2, 2025.

His absence triggered speculation that he had been arrested after a disagreement with her at the airport.

Speaking during an Instagram Live session with broadcaster Daddy Freeze on Monday, Kaka, son of late music icon Christy Essien-Igbokwe, said “everything you heard about the couple’s face-off was true.”

He explained that the disagreement began after they arrived in London, alleging that Natasha became upset when she felt the singer abandoned her to interact with fans who ushered him into a shop.

Kaka claimed that when 2face realised she had been left behind, he ran back to her, leading to a confrontation that resulted in his arrest.

Kaka and another former manager, Lori Tosan, also referenced earlier incidents they claimed had occurred between the couple, saying they had witnessed “outbursts” and moments of “rage,” and alleging that police had previously been close to intervening.

“From the happen stance at the airport, just trying to put all this together, as I saw that outburst, that toxic nature of her. You know, the first time that you meet someone and that person is toxic, those are red flags. That outburst was pure rage, from zero to 1000,” Lori said.

“That person needs to be evaluated and understood because how would have so much rage from zero. I met them a couple of times asides the airport, I went to the apartment and what we witnessed again, same rage, see screaming.

“We were trying to keep her down so that police does not come a second time, she did not care. I want us to use this platform and let us save our artiste. You know sometimes, artistes speak through their music, anytime I hear that song ‘Save Me From Myself’, that is just 2Face crying out,” he added.

The discussion escalated during the livestream when 2Baba joined the session and told his former managers to stop discussing his personal issues.

A video of the arrest, posted by blogger Tosin Silverdam on TikTok on December 1, 2025, has continued to circulate.

Screenshots shared online appear to show officers speaking with the singer outside a store before escorting him away.
